Press release – 4 Jan 2017 – The companies CISEL Informatique SA and TheValueChain SA have signed an agreement to transfer SAP Business One activities with effect from 1 January 2017.
CISEL Informatique SA, a company with a workforce of 80 employees specialising in the integration of SAP solutions, IT infrastructures and the Cloud, is announcing the transfer of SAP Business One activities to TheValueChain, a company based in Blonay and Auvernier and a subsidiary of the Gumption group, which has more than 265 employees in the field of ICT.
This acquisition is in line with the common ambition of both companies to offer a lasting solution and high quality services to customers and future purchasers of the SAP Business One ERP. The transfer concerns all the contracts, as well as the support teams.
“This decision is part of our strategic evolution, which will allow us to reposition ourselves in larger market segments. The agreement with TheValueChain is the best solution in that it guarantees our customers a real continuity of service with their SAP Business One solution,” commented Nicolas Roch-Neirey, CEO of CISEL Informatique.
At the same time, the two companies have signed a joint commercial development agreement for CISEL’s IT hosting services. In particular, TheValueChain will build on CISEL’s Cloud services to commercialise the Cloud version of SAP Business One. “Customers will be able to benefit from a wider range of tailored services while drawing on the technologies of the future and the resources of the Gumption Group, which employs 265 people,” said Oliver Leroy, Managing Partner at Gumption Group.
