P&V Elektrotechniek is replacing its existing CRM system with a user-friendly, mobile cloud solution – SAP Cloud for Customer Sales & Service (C4C). P&V Elektrotechniek designs and builds electrical control panels. They chose TheValueChain as their partner for the implementation.

The user-friendly CRM in the cloud makes customer and product information more accessible. “C4C simplifies the complex interface of the old CRM and makes the information available on the move. So everyone has access to the latest data at all times”, says Roberto Musolino, business developer at P&V Elektrotechniek.

Reception staff can inform customers better – via the web, telephone or social media. Sales reps detect new customers and sales opportunities more efficiently, on their iPad too. Thanks to the central overview of activities, managers are more aware of what is going on in the company.

Second time right

Unfortunately, the change-over to C4C was not plain sailing. The company teamed up with an SAP specialist that was not able to offer the desired result. “Our relationship did not work out, and we had to look for another partner. These things cost time and money, but fortunately TheValueChain came to the rescue,” says Roberto Musolino.

TheValueChain was able to meet the expectations. Their efficient solution included aspects that were not part of the standard solution. “Interaction and user-friendliness were greatly improved, a single press of a button is enough”, says Musolino. “The users are very satisfied.”

This is the start of a long-term relationship!

Personal approach

TheValueChain’s expertise and references in C4C Sales & Service were decisive for the choice of partner, but it was more than that. “We also liked the personal approach”, says Roberto Musolino. “They are not consultants who just do their job from 9 to 5. We never had the feeling that we were just a number. We got answers to our questions quickly – in urgent cases even in the evenings and at weekends.”

From the outset, TheValueChain showed that it was up to the job, says IT Manager Sarah Vangertruijden. “Their proposals were sound. They listened to what we needed, and we got exactly what we wanted. What is more, their consultants are great people to work with.”

Long-term relationship

TheValueChain completed the project in less than four months. “It all went smoothly”, says Sarah Vangertruijden. “There were no misunderstandings and we did not need many iterations – exactly the way it should be. That was reassuring after our previous experience.”

“Our CRM package is a living entity, the system will continue to grow. We will add more and more information, formulate different objectives and extract new reports”, says Roberto Musolino.
